The 2017 Official MotoGPTM Collection comprises two Tissot T-Race MotoGP™ Limited Edition watches; one is an automatic piece limited to 2017 pieces, while the other is powered by a quartz movement, produced in a series of 5000 pieces.

These watches have the dynamic and robust look of the bikes, with details reflecting some of their features – from the counters all the way to the bracelet. Their ultimate accuracy is proof of the high standard that timing has reached over the years as the Official Timekeeper of MotoGP™, while also paying tribute to the skills of the riders. The style, however, is from the athletes themselves.

The watches have been given a fresh new look. The automatic watch has a winning attitude with a rose gold PVD case. The quartz version portrays more of a dark and mysterious look, achieved with a dark grey PVD and stylish electric blue detailing. These limited edition pieces come in a helmet box worthy of a true collector’s item.

François Thiébaud, Tissot President, said “Tissot is proud of its profound link and longstanding partnership with MotoGP which started in 2001. The dynamic and fast nature of the sport matches the brand’s spirit perfectly. The latest exclusive timepieces dedicated to MotoGP, not only celebrate this alliance through the motorbike features such as the break-disc on the dial, but also Tissot’s precision that matches that of our timekeeping. As the sport evolves and timing gets tougher, we keep up-to-date with all the latest technologies to provide utmost accuracy whether with our watches or in timekeeping.”

Carmelo Ezpeleta, Dorna Sports Chief Executive Officer, added: “Precision and timing are two of the cornerstones of MotoGP. The values, attention to detail and excellence of Tissot make them a perfect partner as the Official Timekeeper of the Championship; a relationship that is now in its second decade. Championing that partnership is this new collection, which brings together the best of MotoGP and the best of Tissot to celebrate our relationship, and the best of our sport.”
